Capricorn Full Moon and Your Week Ahead Reading 7/7- 7/14 2025
We are in the thick of Cancer season, while Uranus moves into Gemini, Saturn goes retrograde, and we are preparing for another round of Mercury retrograde.
Well, it is good to be back. I needed to take a break in the spring for various reasons.
However, the biggest reason for my hiatus was burnout.
However, I am back, and will prepare you for the week-ahead energies, starting with the transits, then the tarot reading, followed by the Capricorn Full Moon reading.
On July 7th, Uranus enters Gemini. That means we are shifting into a new frequency.
Uranus, the planet of breakouts, upsets, and "I do it my way," heads into fast-talking, inquisitive Gemini.
It won't be here for long this year, but it will stir up the air.
Think the unthinkable, like flashpoints of genius, info overload, and maybe a total rewiring of how you think or communicate your truth.
Revolution begins with a sentence. I mean that is the best way to describe it.
On the same day, Venus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius which means mental chemistry is sizzling.
This trine is nerdy, flirtatious, and intense in the best way possible. That is the best way to put it.
I mean, think of conversations that swirl into the deep end, but leave you satisfied.
Therefore, speak your mind, share your secrets, or get curious with someone who can meet your frequency.
On July 10th, there is the Full Moon in Capricorn as it is time to see what’s been building.
This Capricorn full moon is no-nonsense and all about results. If you’ve been grinding behind the scenes, the spotlight’s swinging your way.
Therefore, own your achievements because this is harvest energy for the patient and the persistent. There is a detailed reading for the Capricorn Full Moon at the end.
Finally, on July 12th, Saturn goes retrograde in Aries, as it is calling us to corral our impulses and reconsider how we handle responsibility, boundaries, and bold action.
You can break the rules, but don't say you weren't warned. You do not want to be impulsive over the next few months.
Also, the bad news is, we are in the thick of Mercury’s shadow as it heads into retrograde next week.
Now, let’s do the week-ahead reading to see what the cards say as I am using my beloved Penguin tarot deck:
Week-Ahead Tarot Reading
Here are the cards that came up for this week:
1. Your week as a whole - Six of Wands
2. Something unexpected that will arise - Two of Cups
3. How to stay grounded and balanced - The Star
4. Important emotion that you will feel this week - Page of Pentacles
5. Something that will inspire you - Emperor
6. How your spirit guides speak to you this week - The Tower
7. How to best support yourself this week - Ten of Swords
Card One - Six of Wands
The good news is that victory is in the air. After struggle or uncertainty, you’re now stepping into a moment of recognition.
You may be saying “finally!” and that recognition may be public or deeply personal.
This echoes the Capricorn Full Moon on July 10th, shining a light on all the effort you’ve been quietly investing.
You may finally feel seen for who you are and what you bring. Therefore, let this be your motivation, not your finish line. That means to not get complacent.
Always remember that confidence grows when you allow yourself to celebrate the wins and stay connected to your why.
Just don’t get stuck in performance mode. You’re not here to prove, you’re here to shine.
Card Two - Two of Cups
There will be a connection you will make that will take you by surprise. Whether romantic, creative, or collaborative, this is a week where you connect with someone deeply and authentically.
It is possible that you did connect with this person but this week will be the week where something will deepen.
The Venus-Pluto trine in air signs is an open invitation to bond over shared values, powerful conversations, or an unexpected spark.
This connection might start light but quickly deepen. Stay open to mirroring energy, where someone helps you see yourself more clearly.
It’s not always about love; sometimes, it’s about mutual respect, aligned vision, or a soul contract quietly unfolding.
Card Three - The Star
Amid the chaos or pressure of the week, the Star reminds you: breathe.
Hope is not naive, as it’s necessary. After any recent Tower moments (more on that below), this card urges you to tend to your nervous system and your vision.
Stay grounded through rituals that reconnect you to your inner light, especially as Uranus enters Gemini, which can scatter your thoughts and stir mental restlessness.
Anchor yourself in clarity, not control. Reconnect to a larger purpose, whether it’s spiritual, creative, or deeply personal.
You don’t have to have all the answers! You just need enough faith to keep going.
Card Four - Page of Pentacles
Curiosity will lead the way. The Page of Pentacles is a slow but eager student, and emotionally this week, you may feel a desire to invest in something new.
It might be your health, your business, your skills, or your physical environment.
There's a beginner’s mindset present, not in a naive sense, but as a willingness to learn.
With Saturn about to go retrograde in Aries, the urge to rush might be strong, but the deeper satisfaction lies in pacing yourself.
Don’t overlook the value of small steps, quiet wins, or humble beginnings. Your grounded emotional energy will be your superpower.
Card Five - The Emperor
Structure, leadership, and personal sovereignty light you up this week. The Emperor brings clarity around what you want to build and how you want to show up.
After the Page’s curiosity, this card is the voice that says, “I’ve got this.”
With the Capricorn Full Moon and the start of Saturn retrograde, there’s big energy around redefining authority and responsibility. However, it is not as external forces, but as inner foundations.
This week, inspiration strikes when you realize you’re the architect of your own future.
Systems, routines, and inner discipline become sexy when they align with your power.
Card Six - The Tower
Uh oh, the Tower comes up as how your guides will speak to you this week. What will that look like?
Okay, well, you’ll know they’re speaking when something cracks. Maybe it’s a belief, a relationship, or just your own illusion of safety.
But remember that the Tower isn’t a punishment even if it feels like it, as it’s a divine interruption instead.
With Uranus entering Gemini, Tower energy is especially alive, especially in the mind.
If something shakes, it’s because your guides are redirecting you.
Listen closely during moments of discomfort, tech glitches (which will happen anyway since we are in Mercury’s shadow), surprise news, or sudden truths.
It’s not sabotage, as it’s recalibration. The divine often shows up not in ease but in upheaval.
Let what falls fall. Then look for the light breaking through.
Card Seven - Ten of Swords
The Ten of Swords represents how you will support yourself, and don’t pretend it doesn’t hurt.
This card is raw, but it’s also about release. The one thing to understand and remember about this card as it means that the worst has already happened—or it’s on the way out.
Let it go. Whatever you're grieving (a failed plan, a betrayal, burnout, or a painful truth), the only way forward is through. The Tower moment happened, this is the time to honor any grief.
This week, support means honoring endings without forcing a bounce-back. Let your body rest. Let your mind reset.
You are not weak for needing time. You are wise for recognizing when to stop carrying what has already collapsed. This is the end of a chapter. The next one starts with your healing.
Needless to say that this week is a paradox: a rising tide of recognition, connection, and insight, surrounded by a quiet undercurrent of transformation.
You’re stepping into your power (Six of Wands, Emperor), but it doesn’t come without letting go (Ten of Swords, Tower).
Something unexpected, possibly even beautiful, emerges from connection (Two of Cups), and your spirit is calling you toward peace, purpose, and healing (The Star).
Don’t fear the intensity of the week. Instead, meet it with grace and curiosity (Page of Pentacles), and remember: breakthroughs often begin in the rubble. You’re not breaking down as you’re breaking through.
Now, let’s do the three-card Capricorn Full Moon reading.
Capricorn Full Moon Reading
This Capricorn Full Moon on July 10th is your astrological report card. It puts things in perspective, closure, and recognition about the goals you've been working hard towards.
The Capricorn energy is functional, strategic, and extremely devoted to results, as it is not for ego-gratification, but for operation.
This moon will probably call upon you to claim your power, finish what you started, or finally release what no longer aligns with your long-range plan.
It's not sexy, but it's powerful. Be sure to celebrate your momentum, honor your resilience, and trust that being steady over time is stronger than flashy beginnings. Focus on legacy over hype!
Now, let’s do the three-card Full Moon reading:
1. What Can No Longer Be Hidden - Ten of Pentacles
2. What Can I Let Go Of? - Eight of Wands
3. What's Getting Ready to Emerge? - Death
Card One - Ten of Pentacles
Your long-term vision is coming into focus. Whether it's legacy, family dynamics, financial patterns, or inherited expectations, something foundational is rising to the surface.
This card reveals the structures you've built, or been born into that may have silently shaped your path.
Under the Capricorn Full Moon, truths about security, tradition, or generational cycles can no longer stay buried.
Are you living according to your definition of success, or someone else’s?
This moon highlights the wealth of your experiences, but also the weight of them.
It’s time to get honest about what kind of foundation you truly want to stand on.
Card Two - Eight of Wands
This card suggests that you’ve been moving fast, maybe too fast.
The Eight of Wands signals acceleration, but under this full moon, it’s a nudge to release the need for constant momentum.
You don’t have to rush to prove you’re evolving. Let go of the urgency, the endless updates, the hustle disguised as progress.
Sometimes speed is just distraction. Capricorn wants quality over quantity, impact over immediacy.
Clear the clutter, digitally and energetically as not every email needs a reply.
Not every idea needs action today. Let your growth breathe. There’s strength in stillness. Timing matters, and right now, slow is what matters the most.
Card Three - Death
Something is ending, but something far more aligned is on its way.
Death is not doom; it’s transformation.
Under this Capricorn Full Moon, you’re shedding old skins which may be roles, ambitions, even identities that no longer reflect your essence.
This energy is potent, raw, and necessary as the last thing you want to do is to cling to the outdated just because it’s familiar.
The full moon exposes what’s run its course so that space can be made for what’s next.
Death asks you to trust the in-between: the composting phase where the future quietly takes root. Let go with reverence.
What’s emerging will be more you than what came before.
This Capricorn Full Moon peels back the layers to reveal what's real.
You can no longer ignore the structures, which are financial, familial, or internal that shape your choices (Ten of Pentacles).
The need for speed, validation, or constant motion is ready to be released (Eight of Wands). And in that pause, something powerful begins to stir.
The Death card promises deep transformation, not surface-level change, but the kind that remakes you. Let go of urgency and let go of expectations.
What remains will be sturdy, soulful, and sustainable. This is a turning point. The full moon shows you where your true foundation begins.
