Week Ahead and Imbolc Reading 2/3 to 2/10 2025
Spoiler alert: Jupiter goes direct which is always great for business.
I have to say I forgot to add the Imbolc reading last week, so I will do it at the end.
But now, let’s have a look at the transits this week before getting into the week ahead tarot reading, and then the Imbolc reading.
On February 3rd, Venus enters Aries. Venus in Aries brings bold, passionate energy to relationships, finances, and creativity.
I know that many astrologers say Venus does not do well in Aries but I think it is just fine there.
It is in its detriment in Aries as it rules Libra so that makes sense.
But I like it because this transit encourages directness in love and assertiveness in desires.
Though it can be impulsive. However, it brings excitement when it comes to creating new beginnings but challenging for patience.
Independent expression in relationships takes priority over compromise and harmony. That is where it can be challenging.
On February 4th, Jupiter finally goes direct in Gemini.
After months of retrograding, direct Jupiter in Gemini promises a resurgence of optimism!
Jupiter is also in its detriment in Gemini but it doesn’t matter as going direct is great!
It also helps to expand mental faculties, and open opportunities regarding communication, education, and social networks.
Don’t be surprised if you get more opportunities regarding learning, networking, and possibly travel.
Curiosity and adaptability will be rewarded, though avoid spreading yourself too thin.
Clarity of decision improves, promoting progress.
Then on February 7th, Venus in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius.
This transit increases the passion and intensity of any relationship, magnetically attracting people.
This is a great time for positive changes in the areas of love, money, or creativity.
Authenticity and confidence will empower interactions, as it should.
And expect revealing conversations and empowerment opportunities through your values, desires, and emotional expression.
On February 9th, the Sun in Aquarius conjuncts Mercury.
It is a brilliant day for innovations, communication, and intellectual insight.
This transit favors mental clarity, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Converse is forward-thinking and unconventional.
It is a perfect time for brainstorming, networking, and tech-related projects.
This transit will definitely enhance and bring spice to your ideas.
Also, conversations you may have can create a collective of progress with an outlook for the future.
That also depends on who you speak with!
On the same day, Mars in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces.
This is the aspect that brings emotional resilience, disciplined action, and steady progress.
Mars in Cancer (in its fall, not detriment as I said in the audio) fuels the protective instincts, while Saturn in Pisces gives structured intuition.
It's a great time for emotional or creative projects, family responsibilities, or healing efforts.
Determination and patience mean long-term success in personal and professional matters.
Alright, so there are the transits for this week. Now, let’s delve into the week-ahead tarot reading:
1. Your week as a whole - Eight of Swords
2. Something unexpected that will arise - Four of Swords
3. How to stay grounded and balanced - Page of Wands
4. Important emotion that you will feel this week - Temperance
5. Something that will inspire you - Lovers
6. How your spirit guides speak to you this week - Six of Wands
7. How to best support yourself this week - Ten of Swords
Card One - Eight of Swords
During this week, you might feel all mentally foggy, overthinking everything, with doubts as to how to go forward.
The Eight of Swords is all about feeling trapped, but here's the kicker! You aren't actually as stuck as you think.
Most of these limitations are in your mind.
These are self-created by self-doubt, fear, or old patterns that continue to play out.
So, the key to breaking free is to change your perspective.
Instead of assuming the worst, take a step back and ask yourself: What's really holding me back?
Because the moment you realize you have options, that stuck feeling is going to lift.
Card Two – Four of Swords
Life has a funny way of forcing rest when we refuse to take a break.
Something will happen that will make you slow your pace.
It may be a change in plans, sudden fatigue, or a realization that a break is absolutely necessary.
The Four of Swords reminds you that rest is not a luxury; it's a necessity.
No need to resist this pause but, rather, lean into it.
Take this time to review, recharge, and process whatever has been troubling you.
Your mind and body will thank you, and you’ll be much more effective once you’re back in action.
Card Three – Page of Wands
The best way to keep yourself balanced this week? Stay curious, open, and playful.
The Page of Wands is all about approaching life with a sense of adventure.
When tension mounts, don't let it weigh you down; instead, find small ways to add great things to your day.
This card reminds you to keep your mind open for fun projects, exploring an idea, or looking at challenges as opportunities.
Do something new. Be spontaneous.
And remember, life is ongoing learning. Being able to stay light will keep you centered.
Card Four – Temperance
This week, you will be craving balance, peace, and patience more than ever.
Temperance is all about emotional harmony, and no matter how disorganized things may get, it's a subtle reminder that you can always find your center.
You may feel moments of frustration or impatience, but deep inside, you will know you need moderation.
When you feel overwhelmed, take a step back and practice patience with yourself and others.
Trust that things are unfolding as they should, even if you don't see results immediately.
Your emotions will move you toward a more balanced way of living your life, nudging you to combine action with mindfulness.
Card Five - The Lovers
Love, connection, and choices of significance will be the inspiration for you this week.
It may be a talk with someone who understands you, a moment of deep acceptance, or a realization about your values.
But whatever it is, the Lovers suggest that something, or somebody, will stir a passion inside you.
It's not merely a romantic card; it is about alignment.
You will find yourself inspired whenever you follow your heart.
Maybe you reconnect with an old dream, or perhaps a partnership pushes you to think big.
Take note of the connections that light you up and let that energy drive you forward.
Card Six – Six of Wands
Your guides will be loud and clear this week, cheering you on through small victories and moments of recognition.
The Six of Wands is a card of success and vindication, so watch for signs that confirm you're on the right track.
Perhaps it is a compliment from someone you respect, a breakthrough in a personal project, or simply feeling good about how far you have come.
Your guides want you to celebrate your progress instead of dwelling on what's still ahead.
When you notice moments of triumph—no matter how small—that's them reminding you that you're doing better than you think.
Card Seven – Ten of Swords
This week, supporting yourself means acknowledging what's done and letting it go.
The Ten of Swords is the ultimate "this is over" card, signaling the need for closure.
Something needs to be laid to rest: an old mindset, a draining situation, or even just unnecessary stress.
Instead of resisting this process, embrace the liberation that comes along with release.
Yes, ends can hurt, but they also make way for new starts.
Be kind to yourself as you process, but don't stay stuck in the past.
What is best for you is to just accept what is and move forward.
This week, the theme will be mental breakthroughs and finding your emotional balance.
You might feel stuck initially, as suggested by the Eight of Swords, but then comes an unexpected pause, as seen in the Four of Swords; this gives you space to gain clarity.
Curiosity and openness, the page of wands, will keep you connected with your feet on the ground, while the desire to live in peace, signaled by Temperance, will shape your emotional landscape.
Your inspiration comes through meaningful connections-the Lovers.
Your spirit guides reassure you through small victories, the Six of Wands.
And what about the biggest support you can give yourself?
To let go of what no longer serves you, says the Ten of Swords, and move forward.
Now, let’s go over the Imbolc reading that I failed to do last week!
Imbolc 2025
Imbolc this year happened on the 1st of February. Why is Imbolc on the 1st or 2nd of February? That is because it marks the halfway between winter and spring.
Do you hear that? Spring is coming! And it is a time of renewal, inspiration, setting intentions into place for the forthcoming months.
This is the time to plant your seed ideas to manifest in new form.
Brigid is considered a goddess who connects to creativity, healing, and transformation during Imbolc.
This is a perfect time to reflect on where you’re headed, clear away mental fog, and take steps toward new possibilities.
Let’s delve into a tarot reading to see what insights Imbolc has in store for you:
1. What needs to be illuminated – Seven of Cups
2. What needs to be released – Two of Swords
3. How to move forward – The Knight of Cups
Card One - Seven of Cups
Right now, your mind is swimming with possibilities.
The Seven of Cups suggests that you have big dreams, but maybe you're feeling overwhelmed by choices or unsure which direction to take.
Imbolc's energy brings clarity as this is the time use this time to get real about what you truly want.
Are some of these options just illusions, distractions, or wishful thinking?
It's time to narrow your focus to make tangible progress.
That's great for visualization, but it's action that solidifies goals into realities.
Instead of staying lost in daydreams, pick one or two main areas in which you will be investing your energy this season.
Card Two – Two of Swords
You have really been stuck at a crossroads and unable to make a choice.
The Two of Swords is a card of indecision; basically, it indicates that fear of making a wrong choice has kept you paralyzed.
But here's the kicker: Not to choose is a choice.
The light of Imbolc nudges you to let go of doubt and move into intuition.
You don't have to know it all just yet-just take a step in some direction.
This card also reminds you to stop ignoring something that needs your attention.
If you've been avoiding some truth or pushing aside emotions, it's time to face them.
Clarity comes when you stop overthinking and start moving.
Card Three - The Knight of Cups
The Knight of Cups asks that you follow your heart as you step into this new cycle.
Imbolc is about renewal, and what this card does is point you toward creativity, emotional depth, and intuition for your next move.
Don't be afraid to dream big and chase what gets you excited.
Whether it be for a new project, a relationship, or personal growth, the key is to approach it with passion and to believe in it.
This Knight also invites you to remain open to inspiration, some messages, dreams, or synchronicities might guide you through unexpected ways.
Move forward with an open heart and let your emotions drive you on this journey.
Imbolc brings clarity to guide you from indecision to inspired action.
The Seven of Cups asks you to cut through the confusion and distill down into what really matters.
The Two of Swords asks you to release indecision and allow yourself to trust your decision-making.
Last but not least, the Knight of Cups invites you to step into action, creativity, passion, and intuition.
This is a season wherein you should not remain in one place; take a road that excites you.
Don’t be afraid to follow your heart—you’re being guided toward something meaningful.
I am here for a reading if you like as all you need to do is head over to miriamreadstarot.com. (however, soon I will be changing my branding everywhere - it may be next week).
Don’t forget to listen and subscribe to my podcast The Tarot Table every Friday, on Spotify (also on Apple, Amazon Music, etc).
It's a relief to know that my very present feelings of limitation are self-created and not actual... And I was so happy to see 6 of Wands! Thank you for your reading!
Hi Miriam,
Thank you for sharing this Imbolc Reading. It also rings a bell for me, especially, the part of "not thinking I am stuck, only requires to change the perspective." It true for me too!
I'd like to send you blessings from St Brigid and the realm of nature (Imbolc Festival).
